As Alabama Baptist leaders gathered March 1–2 in Montgomery, each speaker shared the importance of evangelism.
“We’re all commanded to do the work of an evangelist,” said David Burton of David Burton Ministries.
Burton was joined by Mark Johnson, president of Louisiana Christian University, to lead the main sessions at “E3: Evangelize, Establish, Equip,” the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions evangelism conference held at Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery.
‘Aggressive, unapologetic’
Just sharing “Has God told you today that He loves you,” can be a witness to someone in need of encouragement, Burton said.
“Jesus is going to use you until the day you die,” Burton said. “Be aggressive. Be unapologetic.”
